Licensed Practical Nurse
Duties and
responsibilities:

Giving medication as prescribed
by a physician
·
Taking vital signs, such as blood
pressure, temperature, and weight
·
Basic wound care including
cleaning and bandaging injured areas
·
Giving injections of medication
Salary: $41,540
Education: high school diploma or GED to apply for an LPN
educational training program, typically a 12-month program found in technical
and vocational schools and community colleges. Associate’s degree or
bachelor’s degree in nursing.
I think I would like to become a
licensed practical nurse, because it’s something I would enjoy doing.
