This is trying to say that surround yourself with only positive people, because if you hang out with the wrong people, they'll end up making you do what's wrong too. 

April fool’s Day

April fool’s day is on April 1.  

The main purpose of April fool’s day is as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other. The jokes and their victims are known as "April fools".

Pros of April fools are that everyone has a good laugh

Cons are that people can get hurt by the pranks.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and responsibilities: The nation’s health sciences librarians must continue to play a significant role in the expert retrieval and evaluation of information in support of knowledge and evidence based clinical, scientific, and administrative decision making at all health institutions.

Salary: $79,000

Education: Graduate degree in library science from an ALA-accredited institution or and equivalent combination of relevant advanced degree and library experience.

Reflection: I wouldn’t like to become a health Sciences Librarian because it doesn’t catch my attention as something I would like to be.

I agree with this quote, because if you really work hard for something that you want to do, it will pay off in the end. All your hard work and determination will eventually pay off in the end.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is my favorite amusement park, because I just love getting on roller coasters. Six flags has some pretty fast rides but my favorite rides have to be goliath and x2. Goliath has a 255 foot drop which goes at 85 mph, making this one of the longest and fastest drops in the world. X2 will make your body be flipping around 360-degrees over and over again while it’s going at 76 miles per hour. These are just two of my favorite rides but they have more fun rides.

St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, and is one of Christianity’s most widely known figures.

St. Patrick's Day celebrates the Roman Catholic feast day of the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick died on March 17, 461.

The color green has been associated with Ireland since at least the 1640s, when the green harp flag was used by the Irish Catholic Confederation.  Green ribbons and shamrocks have been worn on St Patrick's Day since at least the 1680s. The Friendly Brothers of St Patrick, an Irish fraternity founded in about 1750, adopted green as its color.

Video Summary

I think what the football players from Olivet Middle School did  was a really nice thing, because they wanted Keith to make a touch down even though Keith had a disability, they wanted him to feel apart of the team by letting him make his first touchdown ever. That was a really nice thing that they did because other people would only care about themselves before thinking about others too.

Volunteer Opportunities:

A place you can volunteer in is Kaiser Permanente. Volunteering in hospice is a rewarding way to help patients and their families. You could be directly involved with patient care or assisting our support staff. The Volunteer Services Department at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center has been established to develop and maintain a caring, compassionate and efficient volunteer staff who offers an extra dimension of care and services to the members, their families without replacing any paid position through the Medical Center campus.

Cheating: Is the short term gain worth the long term pain?

Reflection: It's trying to say that you don't need steroids or anything to make you a better person or anything.

Amanda is active, she likes to go hiking, and run at the beach, she also loves cooking.

" I Won't Cheat"

Dale Murphy

Cheating won't get you anywhere in life. Even though everyone cheats once in a while, it's just something people might be used to doing. But I guess if you want to really be someone in life, cheating isn't gonna help you get there.

Oncologist

Duties and responsibilities: Oncology specialists are physicians trained in a variety of cancer diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Salary: the median salary is $217,856

Education: oncology specialists must complete up to eight years of undergraduate and medical school education. They then train in a medical residency that can last 3-5 years depending on the specialty.

Reflection: I think I would become an oncologist, but it takes a lot of time to study for one.

He is trying to say that it isn't what you do, but how you act with others. If you're nice and respectful with others, then people are going to look at you as a good person with good character. 

Heliotherapy

Duties and responsibilities: the use of sunlight this is a treatment only for the people that have depression, to boost the effects of antidepressant medication, as a substitute for antidepressants during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and to enable patients with depression to take lower doses of antidepressants.

Salary: $45,000 

Education: Certified doctor to prescribe light therapy

Reflection : I wouldn’t want to become one, because it doesn’t seem like a good job. 

Mitch McKee 

Mitch's father had cancer, so he wanted to make his father proud by winning the wrestling championship. Mitch was only a freshman in high school, but he practiced everyday in order to win the championship. He practiced, and he won the championship.

Health Educator

Duties and responsibilities: Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers provide a link between the community and health educators and other healthcare workers and develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities.

Salary:  $48,790

Education: Health educators need a bachelor’s degree. Some employers may require the Certified Health Education Specialist credential.

Reflection: I wouldn’t want to become one, because it doesn’t seem like something I would enjoy doing.
