Health Sciences Librarian
Duties and responsibilities: The
nation’s health sciences librarians must continue to play a significant role in
the expert retrieval and evaluation of information in support of knowledge and
evidence based clinical, scientific, and administrative decision making at all
health institutions.
Salary: $79,000
Education: Graduate degree in library
science from an ALA-accredited institution or and equivalent combination of
relevant advanced degree and library experience.
Reflection: I wouldn’t like to become
a health Sciences Librarian because it doesn’t catch my attention as something I
would like to be.
