Professional photographer
Duties and responsibilities: Professional photographers take pictures of
people, events, places and objects. The majority work in general practice,
which involves work such as taking pictures of weddings and family portraits,
while others may specialize in a particular field such as fashion, advertising
or clinical photography.
Salary: about
$55,000 per year
Education: There
are no educational requirements for professional photographers; however, many
employers prefer to hire college graduates with training in photography and
other areas like business and communications. These skills prove useful for
photographers who are business owners as well. Bachelor's and associate degrees
in photography are offered through many colleges and universities and are often
coupled with degrees in art.
Reflection: I would want to be one because it seems fun being a photographer. Maybe I wouldn't want it to be my main job, but I would be it like as a second job or something.
